Local Motion Boutique On-line Return Policy

We hope you love your new clothes! Thank you for the opportunity to style you with local flare!

But if you need to return an item, please complete your return right away, so another on-line or in-store shopper can enjoy. We really appreciate your prompt return. Thank You!


Request a return within 10 days from the SHIP DATE on your packing list. Items must be in new condition. They must be unaltered, unworn and unwashed, with original tags attached. Once approved you will receive a return approval number. Items must be received in our store within 17 Days from the original SHIP DATE.

Return Process:

1. Email us at localmotionboutique@gmail.com

2. Once approved you will receive an email with return number please ship the return as soon as possible. Customer is responsible for return shipping cost.

You may also return to the store if you live local!

3. Your refund will be credited to the original form(s) of payment used to make the purchase. Please allow 3 to 5 business days, plus additional 5 to 10 days from your institution


If you need an exchange the most effective way is to purchase the new size you want and promptly return the original size. We are a small store and usually only purchase 1 of each size of an item and things sell out quickly!

We are sorry but we cannot reserve an item in the store for an exchange due to the small size of our store and limited quantities of each clothing item

Exchange Process:

1. Place a new order for the item you want and follow the regular return/exchange instructions to send back the original size

2. We will then credit your card when we receive the original order

3. Your refund will be credited to the original form(s) of payment used to make the purchase. Please allow 3 to 5 business days, plus additional 5 to 10 days from your institution

Local Process:

For our local customers you may also return or exchange an item in the store following the same timing guidelines above. Items must be returned in the store by 17 days from the ship date. You must bring your original receipts with you!

Sale Items and Refunds:

Regular sale items may be returned for store credit only. All items marked final sale are not eligible for returns.

Gifts: Gift receipt returns are for store credit or exchange only and cannot be refunded

Holiday Purchases: Holiday gifts purchased between November 15 through Dec 24 may be returned or exchanged by January 5 of the following year

Special Orders: All special orders sales are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged

Shipping Charges: Sorry, we do not refund original shipping charges.


1. Local Motion’s physical store has a different return policy. Local Motion does not make retroactive adjustments for items purchased prior to a sale

2. Colors: We make every effort to accurately display colors and styles of the products. Due to monitor and setting discrepancies there can be slight variations to an item

Return conditions:

a. Items will be inspected upon return and must be in new condition; unaltered, unworn, unwashed, and with original tags in place. We reserve the right to refuse an item with smoke or perfume or other odors in the fabric

b. Items received in our store without prior authorization, not in new condition, and/or past 17 days, are subject to be shipped back to the client

c. Expired discounts and Notes cannot be credited back nor rolled forward.

d. Gift Cards cannot be returned

e. We cannot refund or credit lost returns: Be sure to use a trackable and insured method for your return.
